TOP 5 & BOTTOM 5 TRENDS FOR 2021! For us over 35

That time has come again, a new season, a new year and a new lineup of fashion trends for 2021! Preparing for the possibility of another strange year, one must wonder, do trends even matter? I personally don’t have an answer to that question, but I still do love to see what you will be seeing in all the stores and your favorite fashion houses for 2021!

Lets start off with the TOP 5 FASHION TRENDS FOR SPRING 2021

1. ELEVATED LOUNGEWEAR

Being that 2020 was a year of the unknown. Many spent their days in loungewear, therefore 2021 will be all about wearing that loungewear in public! Elevating your loungewear, is one of my favorite trends for the season. From the bed to the store and back to the bed is a functional and a total 2021 moment!

2. VOLUMINOUS SLEEVES

When fashion trends carry over from one year to the next, it makes me happy! Especially when the year before was a throw away year! So don’t put away your puff sleeves, they are going nowhere!

3. WIDE LEG PANTS

The wide leg trouser, pant and jeans are totally the pant for 2021! I love the refined version of these wide leg pants and can not wait to add some to my wadrobe

4. CORSET

I love the idea of a corset top with a nice wide leg pant! This a trend I can totally get on board with. This trend will be seen as boning inside of tops as well as full on corset tops!

5. Cut-Outs

If you thought showing skin was so 2019, well its back! Get ready for seeing lots of cut-outs in dresses, tops, sweaters and even pants!!

Going into a year of the unknown, seems like designers wanted us to decide what to wear underneath our Nets! Netting will be huge in 2021 so you can pair them with dresses, jeans or whatever your little heart desires!

BOTTOM 5 TRENDS OF 2021

1. SWEATER VEST

You have probably already seen your favorite fashion bloggers sporting the boxy sweater vest trend, a trend that for me I just can’t get on board with. We will see, but right now I just don’t like it!

2. FRINGE

There is pretty fringe and then there is this fringe. I love a good 1920’s fringe, but not this kind of fringe.. Fringe is a No for me

3. BRA TOPS

A very cool girl trend is the Bra top, and yes it can look chic and stylish on some girls, but for me its a huge pass!

4. STRUCTURED TOPS

I love have a love hate relationship with structured tops. In a way, I think it looks modern and cool, and at the same time I hate it! Since, I have broad shoulders this is a trend I don’t want to jump on board with
